Zoya Chaudary is a Partner at the Firm’s Karachi office. Her practice focuses on local and cross border mergers and acquisitions (buy and sell-side), joint ventures, regulatory compliance, privatizations, and a spectrum of corporate/commercial advisory matters. She handles complex deal structures, advising on shareholder arrangements representing minority and majority, regulatory risks and corporate governance issues, providing solutions based on an understanding of the commercial drivers of the transactions.

Zoya also provides counsel to international and domestic parties including companies, financial advisors, sponsors, private equity Firms and government entities in a wide range of industries, including those that are regulated such as oil & gas, telecom, financial institutions and pharmaceuticals. She routinely engages with regulators and government agencies such as the Competition Commission of Pakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority and the Drugs and Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, gaining an in-depth understanding of policy matters and refining the skills required to overcome practical challenges of the regulatory environment. 

Zoya is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (LL.M) and is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
