Rashid has been practicing since 2011 and joined the Firm in 2017. He appears regularly before High Courts, District Courts, Banking Courts, Accountability Courts, and Tribunals in tax, arbitration, commercial, company, aviation, constitutional, services, family, intellectual property, competition, and white-collar matters.

Rashid also appears before Competition Commission of Pakistan, Competition Appellate Tribunal and has been involved many contentious matters including arbitrations matters in relation to Islamabad International Airport, Restrictive Price Maintenance before Competition Commission of Pakistan and Competition Appellate Tribunal, multi-billion taxation matters before High Courts as well as Appellate Tribunals and Aviation disputes.

Prior to joining the Firm and litigation practice, Rashid was involved in non-contentious / corporate practice and acted in a number of transactions such as; acquisition of a substantial shareholding in K-Electric (previously known as Karachi Electric Supply Corporation) by Shanghai Electric Power Company Limited including due diligence and filing of a pre-merger application with Competition Commission of Pakistan, issuance of Pakistan’s US$ 500 million sovereign Eurobond in September 2015, issuance of Pakistan’s US$ 1 Billion Sukuk in September 2016, lease of a private jet (Challenger-350 (Bombardier)) to Princely Jets (Private) Limited and 4 aircrafts (Boeing A321) to Airblue.

Rashid attended University of London for Bachelor of Laws and BPP University for Master of Laws in Islamic Finance and Business Law. He is enrolled as an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
