Rashid advises local and international clients on complex transactions with a primary focus on project finance, syndicated financings, Islamic finance, and debt capital markets. His practice includes structuring and advising on both conventional and Shariah-compliant financing arrangements, including syndicated facilities, term finance instruments, and capital market issuances.
He has significant experience across financing transactions, where he is involved in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of facilities, including the development of robust security packages. His expertise also extends to REIT structuring, joint ventures, merger and acquisitions and foreign investments.
He regularly drafts and negotiates financing and security documentation, as well as commercial agreements, and advises on regulatory and compliance matters for both listed and unlisted entities.
