Hamza Anwar is an associate in our Corporate/M&A practice group based in the Firm’s Karachi office. He primarily advises clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, joint ventures, private equity investments, anti-trust and competition matters, corporate governance, and general corporate transactions with a focus on various industries, including, private equity, life sciences, healthcare, TMT, banking, financial services, manufacturing, and energy.

Hamza previously served as Judicial Law Clerk to Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He completed his LL.B (Hons.) from the City, University of London and holds a Certificate of Studies in Social Sciences and Humanities from Sciences Po, Institut d’études politiques de Paris.

Hamza is enrolled as an Advocate and is a member of the Sindh Bar Council.
