Haidermota & Co. represented JS Bank Limited (JSBL) (as an entity accredited by the Green Climate Fund (GCF)) on all Pakistan law aspects related to execution of its Funded Activity Agreement with GCF. JSBL is Pakistan’s first financial institution to have been accredited by GCF countries, including Pakistan, to raise and realize their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) ambitions towards low-emissions and climate-resilient pathways by financing projects in Pakistan).
The Firm also advised JSBL/GCF on Pakistan law queries relating to future development of Pakistan Distributed Solar Projects with GFC, which aims to provide affordable and reliable financing solutions through viable solar PV products by bridging the financing gap for these investments in Pakistan.
