Jahanara advises on banking and finance, Islamic finance, debt capital markets, securities, and corporate transactions. Her experience includes advising banks, financial institutions, DFIs, NBFCs, corporates, and other stakeholders on complex conventional and Shariah-compliant financing arrangements, including term finance facilities, syndicated financings, Musharakah-based facilities, Sukuk issuances and commercial paper programmes, and restructuring/rescheduling of loans.

She has experience in the structuring, negotiation, drafting, and documentation of financing transactions and related security arrangements. Her experience includes facility agreements, Musharakah agreements, security documents, intercreditor arrangements, accounts agreements, pledges, and other ancillary transaction documents. She has also advised on debt capital market transactions, including privately placed Sukuk and other debt instruments, as well as related regulatory and compliance matters.

Jahanara works closely with Senior Associates and Partners on complex transactions and regularly assists in advising clients on corporate and commercial matters, regulatory requirements, securities, real estate transactions, and other transactional and advisory matters. She is involved throughout the transaction lifecycle, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, execution, and completion.
