Arooshay joined the Firm in 2015 and is based in the Firm’s Lahore office. She advises on a wide range of practice areas, including corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions / joint-venture, energy, project finance, infrastructure, banking and finance, land, privatization, public procurement, public-private partnerships, regulatory, legislative drafting, not-for-profit and dispute resolution. She has advised on various cross-border mergers and acquisition transactions in the energy and natural resources sector; and has closed complex renewable and conventional power projects with financing from some of the world’s leading development finance institutions including IFC, FMO, ICD and CDC.
She graduated from Queen Mary University of London (United Kingdom) in 2021 with a Master of Laws degree with an overall Distinction. While pursuing her LL.M she worked at qLegal in London.
Arooshay is enrolled as an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
