Zara is a Senior Associate based at the Firm’s Islamabad office. She has a diverse range of expertise with a key interest in mergers and acquisitions, fintech, telecommunications law and general corporate advisory work. Zara is actively involved in the Firm’s M&A practice and is part of major restructuring transactions for both local and international clients.

Zara is also engaged in the on-going power projects that the Firm is undertaking and is a lead member of the team involved in preparing innovative and first of its kind B2B and B2C energy sale contracts for off-grid solutions / solar projects. She has also worked extensively on conducting due diligence, structuring transactions, advising on legal and regulatory matters and drafting transaction documents.

After being called to the Bar of England Wales in 2015, Zara went on to complete her master’s in International Commercial Law from City, University of London following which she worked as a paralegal at Clyde & Co. London prior to joining the Firm. Zara is enrolled as an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
